Hello, faraway family and friends! We hope you are all enjoying beautiful autumn weather as we are here. The leaves are just beginning to show their fall colors, and we are looking forward to spending time visiting some of the most colorful autumn sites of Japan when Luke's parents come to visit us later this month.

Our summer was great, especially after we found some good friends to spend time with. Those of you from Boise may know Ben Forrey, a childhood friend of Luke's. Before we came to Japan we heard that he and his wife Jen would be living here too, but we had no idea until a few months ago that they'd be living in Nagoya! Small world.
