Edie

When Tommy began attending preschool last month, the only one to shed a tear as he boarded the bus was Edie. Although Tommy was thrilled about the change, Edie missed her brother terribly; it took her a few weeks to adjust to the new situation. Edie wants to be like Tommy in every way: she prefers to sit in his booster seat over her own, plays with Thomas the Tank Engine toys, tries to put on any clothes he may have left on the floor (including his underwear), and refuses to wear any pajamas to bed except for her "Tommy pajamas" (some that Grandma Sue made for the Davis grandkids---Tommy has an identical pair). Tommy puts up with her admiration fairly well, even letting her play with some of his beloved engines, and we're glad to see them play so happily together.
