Tommy is quite grown up now, as you can see. There's nothing babyish about him anymore! This summer he proved just how big a boy he is by trying some new and impressive things, like attending swimming class without Sarah, and accompanying Luke on his Saturday trips to a local climbing gym. We're hoping these new activities will help prepare him for the big step he's taking next year: in April he will begin preschool, which is much more intensive in Japan than it is in the U.S. He'll leave on the bus at 8am and come home at 3pm. We hope he won't cause too much trouble as the only non-Japanese child in his class!
