Little Girl on the Go!
Showing off her crawling skills |

When Eden reached the age of five months and still wouldn't roll over, we began to wonder about her (after all, her brother could do it at two months). Then one day she tried it---and liked it. Within a week she was rolling all over the room. Within a few weeks more she was dragging herself around on her belly, anxious to get to the nearest toy before her brother snatched it up. Now, at almost eight months, she appears to be trying to make up for all those months she spent lying around staring at the ceiling. She is everywhere! She has become very adventurous and will sneak off when no one is looking. Her favorite place to play (if she can get there before anyone catches her) is the genkan (Japanese style front entry), where there are always lots of shoes to chew on. She also likes to scout out the kitchen floor to find any stray Cherrios that may have fallen from her tray at mealtime. To some of you eating Cherrios off the floor may sound disgusting, but at this point Sarah is just glad that she's convinced Luke that he shouldn't purposely feed Edie her meals on the floor (he thought it was a great idea since most of her food ended up there anyway)!
